What started as a fun 3D modelling refresher turned into one of my favourite projects to date. I decided to try and remodel the classic Pacman map into 3D, and the project grew from there. I invisioned a new Pacman game that could have First Person Shooter camera angles as well as multiplayer elements, but also staying as true to the original as possible. Most of this work was produced over the course of one weekend a few years ago, and I haven't had the time to work on it further, but it'll be a project I'd love to see finished, whatever "finished" might mean for it.

During the Christmas of 2013, I was given my first hardcore, heavy-duty camera, and I couldn't wait to use it. I made a camping trip to Chinook Lake, AB and decided that it would be the location of my personal crash course with my new camera. Took a lot of fiddling, guessing, and patience, but by the end of the day I was able to grab some fantastic shots.

What would my first Mexican vacation in Puerto Vallarta be without going on a romantic walk along the beach with my girlfriend and camera on Valentine's day? While my girlfriend didn't like her picture being taken much, a found a much more willing (and winged) participant.

For hockeyjerseyconcepts.com's first ever Pairs Competition, I was given the task to pair up and design a jersey set for an NHL expansion team. My good friend Chris helped me with inspiration, name and city choices and modeling, while I did the bulk of the design work. We didn't win, but this concept is probably my favourite that I've worked on to date.

Imagine an arcade bar, but take out the games and substitute those with easels, cameras, design-friendly computers, craft supplies, musical instruments and white walls for the visitors to paint all over. A place for social creativity and collaboration. Its a place I would find very difficult to leave. I imagined a place like this, and made this project to suit it. And if such a place already exists, let me know and you'll see me there soon!

This was for a competition for a company looking for logos for their nutrition software and apps. I tried to combine a tablet with a traditional market stand, adding a lemon/sun backdrop to try to use both of the requested colours (green and yellow). This concept didn't win, and admittedly does need some refining, but I really enjoyed this project nonetheless.

I always thought the traditional letter grades and letter scores were a dull way to show off your accomplishments. If there was a more visually pleasing way, like my idea above, students (probably mostly the over-achievers) would be more excited to be rewarded for their efforts and showcase their achievements off to others. Just a thought.

As part of my internship with the Lethbridge College E.E.T. in 2014, I was asked to design a functional student calculator that uses the students' tuition costs and other expenses to total up the entire cost of the semester, as well as the cost per minute and per class. In other words, if you skip class, this calculator can tell you how much that missed class cost you.

As part of my internship with the Lethbridge College E.E.T. in 2014, I was asked to design a functional html quiz, testing the students on the locations of various bones and muscles on the human bodies. I used 3 different views for each muscle and bone, and created colour-coded overlays for each piece. The coding of this project was the easiest part, as I'm admittedly a poor biology student and needed to do a lot of research for this project. I wish I had more time to make it look better, but I'm happy with how I was able to make it work.
